- Team were winners of England Basketball's U15 Boys Midlands League (undefeated)

Coaches Reference: “As well a being a talented basketball player, Laurence is a talented athlete. He is developing as a national ranked Hammer thrower (ranked 9th in the east region) and has the potential to become a nationally ranked Decathlete. He will attempt his first Octathlon in September having finished 7th in the South of England Pentathlons in September 2008. On top of his basketball training, Laurence trains 2/3 times each week with Stevenage and North Herts Athletic Club.”
