Elise Snow - Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Qualifications

Level 2 Gym instructor. Currently studying for my BSc Sports and Exercise Science degree and my Level 3 Personal Training course.

Coach Since

September 2020

Primary Roles

Delivering strength and conditioning sessions to the Saracens Mavericks U21 Netball Squad in the gym and additional netball groups over zoom during the pandemic. Other athletes that I work with are from the Uni of Herts Sports Teams (Basketball, Football and Futsal), Hatfield Swim, Herts Golf and the TASS (Talented Athletes Scholarship Scheme).

Previous Experience

I was an athlete on HTAP (Herts Talented Athletes Programme) back in 2014, so I have been coached first-hand by the team. I am now transferring my career into Strength and Conditioning. I have previously interned at Nova Centurion swimming club as a Strength and Conditioning assistant and an additional role as a gym instructor in the Nottingham Trent University gym.

Best part of being a S&C coach

Being able to work with a wide range of athletes from different sports and contribute to developing them into becoming world class athletes. Plus, not having to sit at a desk all day is a huge bonus.

Other interests

Outside of work I like to watch a good series and read sport related books. As well as train myself and meet up with friends.
