Our new Long Covid exercise hub at Herts Sports Village helps in the recovery of those suffering with the long-term effects of COVID-19.
The Long Covid exercise hub provides one-to-one support, both in person and virtually. You will be offered exercise, fitness, breathing and dietary advice to help with your recovery from the after affects of the COVID-19 virus.
Long Covid Symptoms
Long Covid can be debilitating for those suffering with it. If your are amongst the one in five people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and continue to experience symptoms after five weeks, our Long Covid exercise hub and trained staff can provide the rehabilitation exercises and advice to aid your recovery.
Long Covid can last for weeks or months after the infection has gone and sufferers can experience the following symptoms:
Extreme tiredness, fatigue
Shortness of breath
Chest pain or tightness
Memory and concentration problems
Difficulty sleeping, insomnia
Depression and anxiety
Pins and needles
Specially trained Long Covid hub staff
Our specially trained Long Covid Exercise hub team will assess your current health and fitness and your Long Covid symptoms at an initial appointment. They will also ask questions to understand how fit you were before your COVID-19 infection and what your fitness and health goals are. They will then create a treatment plan of action to help with your progress and achieve these goals. Long Covid recovery goals can range from being able to walk short distances, to being able to participate in strenuous exercise activities again.

Available to both Herts Sports Village members and non-members
Non-member clients will receive a free Herts Sports Village membership - usually £40
All appointments will be made with a coach and are FREE of charge
Other visits to Herts Sports Village will be offered at a discounted rate - £5.50 off-peak/£7.50 peak
