£23,524 plus performance related pay (salary uplift to £24,353 following successful completion of 6 month probation)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to lead a busy operations team to ensure we will be consistently welcoming, friendly and deliver proactive, high quality service to our customers.
The postholder will have full responsibility and accountability for ensuring all bookings and events are delivered efficiently and effectively on shift, with guest-orientated service at the centre of delivery. The post holder will lead by example and oversee all staff working on shift ensuring all facilities are clean, safe and welcoming in accordance with written procedures and that service is delivered to all members in-line with our vision, mission and values.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent IT literacy and a high level of organisational and communication skills. You must be able to use your own initiative, be pro-active, work well under pressure and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a busy, vibrant and friendly team.
Candidates must have supervisory operational experience in a wet and dry leisure facility and previous proven line management experience. Essential qualifications for the post include NVQ level 2 or equivalent and NPLQ. A practical and proven ability to deliver large events and a degree in sport or leisure are desirable as is an RLSS trainer assessor qualification.
