We row on a stretch of the River Lea in Broxbourne. This is approximately 20 minutes from campus and travel is arranged by the drivers involved in the University club. This allows the university club to operate from a boat house with a fine fleet of boats, gain access to an equipped gym and spacious club house.
Your membership with university will cover you to row at Broxbourne Rowing Club, and there are options to continue your membership over university holidays.

Whether you have never rowed before or a veteran rower, all abilities are welcome at our university club, we operate with the aim to train both novice and senior crews to row competitively at Broxbourne, other local and British Rowing events as well as BUCS Championships.
The Rowing Club encourage their members to enter competitions managed by BUCS as well as other regional and national events.
Rowing was named University of Hertfordshire Club of the Year in 2019.
