Barre at Home

Do you want to continue with the Barre classes you've recently started? Have you always fancied trying the ballet-inspired classes but never had the chance? Now is the perfect time to try them in the comfort of your own home! See what all the hype is about and why women everywhere have flocked to try out this new fitness class that's all the rage. Ballet-inspired workouts are a great way to develop lean muscle mass whilst improving your balance, flexibility, and range of motion. Whilst Barre has origins in dance, if you are rhythmically challenged, this isn't a problem! No tapshoes, leotards, or any fancy footwork are required. The Barre classes below follow the same basic structure. You’ll start with a mat-based warm-up full of planks and push-ups, do a series of arm exercises, and continue at the bar with a lower-body section to work your thighs and glutes. Finally, you’ll finish with a series of core-focused moves at the bar or a short session on the mat. As we will be exercising at home, you can replace the bar with a chair.

These sessions are perfect to try with the kids! So are you ready to release your inner ballet dancer?
