Casual qualified role
Rate of pay for this role will be based on point 1 within the HPSVC scale (HPSC Hourly Paid), equating to a rate of £12.21 per hour. In addition, you will receive a payment in respect of annual leave that will be calculated at 12.07% of the total value in payment and will be shown separately on payslips.

Pre-requisites
- Ability to jump or dive into deep water
- Can swim 50 metres in no more than 60 seconds
- Able to swim 100 metres continously on front and back
- Ability to tread water for 30 seconds in deep water
- Able to surface dive to the floor of the pool and climb out unaided without a ladder or steps
What we are looking for
- Energy and enthusiasm on shift
- An ability to deliver exceptional customer service consistently
- Must have a current in date NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), with a commitment to ongoing training (speak to Matt Coleman, Operations Manager, if you do not have this as we may be able to help with training)
- The ability to work as part of a shift rota including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

You will assist the Duty Management team with the efficient and effective day to day running of Hertfordshire Sports Village in order to ensure the facilities are clean, safe and welcoming to customers and both facilities and services comply with relevant health and safety legalisation.
Qualifications Required Current and up-to-date NPLQ - speak to Matt Coleman, Operations Manager, if you do not have this as we may be able to help with training. A current First Aid at Work qualfication or the ability to achieve within 3 months.
