Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Qualifications

BSc Exercise Physiology, working towards UKSCA Accreditation and L2 Gym Instructor/ L3 Personal Trainer

PH coach since

September 2020

Primary roles

Assisting in the coaching of various groups at Performance Herts such as the HTAP and TASS athletes. Additionally, coaching Herts County Cricket players and the UH American Football team. I also assist in the delivery of Weightlifting.

Previous experience

Joined Performance Herts after completing my degree whilst on a Football Scholarship in the US. Whilst there I was exposed as an athlete and as an S&C coach to world class training and facilities throughout my time as a student athlete. I had my first strength and conditioning experience during an internship I completed at an athletic performance facility that focused on young athletes.

Best part of being an S&C coach

I enjoy being a part of the process that enables athletes to be better than their opponents by giving them the knowledge and skills they need to take charge of their training off the field. Not sitting behind a desk all day is a bonus.

Other interests

Playing football, training in the gym, singing Hamilton and listening to country music.
