This one day Paediatric First Aid course has been designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support. A range of subjects are covered including wounds and bleeding, resuscitation, epilepsy, dealing with an unresponsive casualty and minor injuries. If you have a professional interest (i.e. you are a child-minder or school teacher, etc) then this course partly fulfils the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage require you to have 12 hours of paediatric first aid training, so our two day Paediatric First Aid course would be required to fulfil their requirements. This 6 hour qualification makes up the first half of the two day course. 

It’s important to highlight that…

• The booking must be made in the name of the person who will be attending the course.
• If you need to change the attendee, please let us know at least 2 working days before the course. For example, if the course is on a Monday, we’d need to receive the change by 5pm on the Wednesday before. Please note, if the attendee’s name does not match the name on the register, we won’t be able to issue a certificate.
• If you or the attendee have any access requirements, just let us know during the booking process so we can make any arrangements needed to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience.
