At Hertfordshire Sports Village we provide changing, toilet and handwashing facilities for our staff, students and customers.
Single-sex facilities for men and women are located on the ground and first floors. Please do not use the facilities for the opposite sex. Accompanied children up to the age of 8yrs can use either set of facilities. Children over 8yrs must use the facilities aligned with their sex.
Any person who does not wish to use changing facilities or toilets in line with their biological sex has the option to access our accessible/unisex toilets.
Accessible (unisex) toilets are on the ground floor opposite the sports halls and on the 1st floor, located opposite the swimming pool viewing balcony entrance. When using these facilities, please give priority to people whose need is more urgent but be aware that not all disabilities are visible. A baby-changing table is located within.
Our toilets and changing facilities are signposted with the words “Male” “Female” and “Accessible” and standard pictograms.
Our toilets are regularly cleaned and inspected. If staff of the opposite sex enter, they will announce their presence and place a temporary sign outside.
Please follow any directions from our staff about which facilities to use and treat other users politely.
