Many of our long-standing members will know Amy Carr. Her warm, caring personality made her a fantastic Senior Health & Fitness Coach, and she supported countless people on their wellness journeys here at HSV.
Back in 2015, Amy bravely fought and overcame her first diagnosis of Glioblastoma. Following surgery, she made it her mission to raise awareness and vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. Over the last decade, Amy has raised an incredible £21,000, completing five marathons and hosting numerous fundraising events along the way. Her drive, resilience, and dedication make her a true ambassador for the charity.
Sadly, Amy is now facing her second battle. To show our love and support, we are proud to announce that our 2026 Charity of the Year will be Amy's charity; @brain
