We are excited to announce that after months of planning we have a new, improved booking system coming to you next week!
Over the years we’ve known that our booking system hasn’t been perfect but options to replace it within the leisure industry have been limited. We spent a long time looking for an improved, more user-friendly option and we are really pleased to let you know we will be switching to an all singing, all dancing new booking system!
Key dates you need to be aware of...
Wednesday 1 December to Sunday 5 December, 6:00pm
You need to make all bookings for any activities you want to attend up to and including Wednesday 8 December.
Sunday 5 December, 6:00pm
The current booking system is switched off and is unavailable for all users, including Sports Village staff. No bookings can be made after this time. This includes the home portal system for swimming lessons.
Wednesday 8 December, 12:00pm
Our new booking system will go live for you to use. You can then make any bookings for activities you wish to attend from Thursday 9 December onwards.
Remember to make your bookings for next week before Sunday 5 December at 6:00pm
To allow us to switch over to the new system we need to stop using the existing one at 6:00pm on Sunday 5 December. After this time you will be unable to book any new activities until midday on Wednesday 8 December.
If you are planning to visit the Sports Village for any bookable activity between 6:00pm on Sunday 5 December up until midday on Wednesday 8 December, it is essential you book these before the current booking system is switched off.
How does this affect you?
Please note you have until 6:00pm on Sunday 5 December to make your bookings. After this time neither you or Sports Village staff will be able to book activities as the current system will cease to function.
Remember, our facility will remain open as usual throughout this switchover period, so you can still come and visit us as normal!
If everything goes to plan with the switchover the new system will go live at midday on Wednesday 8 December. We will be in touch with you before this to let you know what else you need to do to prepare for this. As the system will be new to all of us, it might take us a little longer than usual to deal with enquires so we appreciate your patience over the next week or so.
To allow for this upgrade the booking system will be unavailable from Sunday 5 December | 6pm until Wednesday 8 December | 12pm.
Please book all your activities for this period before Sunday 5 December | 6pm.
This includes the Home Portal system for swimming lessons.
