Pilates at Home

Our Pilates at home helped hundreds of students and individuals to exercise regularly during the pandemic. No equipment was needed and individuals took classes in the comfort of their own home with family or in isolation. The slow, controlled movements of pilates help to strengthen the core muscles that stabilise and support the spine. Pilates brings the mind and body together, focusing on breathing and balance, whilst realigning the body and correcting posture.

Stress manifests in the body in the form of headaches, stomach aches, digestive issues, back pain, muscle tension, dizziness and even rashes and skin disorders. Stress compromises our immune system, disrupts sleep and creates tension in relationships. It can also lead to weight gain.

Regular Pilates sessions can play a huge role in overcoming anxiety and stress levels by calming the mind and focusing on breathing techniques. It can provide a place for the body to relax, rejuvenate and release tension. In Pilates, simple breathing techniques oxygenate the blood which triggers the brain to calm down. This creates a physiological response in the body that naturally decreases stress and anxiety.

Click the videos below and try our Pilates at home sessions at least once a week and feel your mood improve, your aches and pains wash away and your strength increase.
