The Strength and Conditioning Level 2 provides learners with the knowledge required to build and lead well-constructed strength and conditioning programmes. This 1-day workshop will enable successful workshop attendees to prepare fully for their UKSCA accreditation and to seek employment as an S&C coach in a number of settings such as sports clubs, schools or with athletes/teams.
Who is the course designed for?
Athletes, sports coaches, PE teachers, physiotherapists, sports degree students, personal trainers, aspiring strength and conditioning coaches.
Pre-requisite: S&C Level 1 Workshop.
Learn the scientific principles of hypertrophy, strength and power in the athletic population.
Construct and conduct fitness testing based upon the sport and individual athlete
Learn how to design and evaluate periodised strength and conditioning programs and sessions.
Understand how to develop power in athletic populations, both theoretically and through practical exercises.
Practice and learn advanced training methods.
The course will be delivered through both practical and theory content.
